Privacy Policy
SkillStack ("we", "us") is a curated directory and marketplace for Agent Skills and AI prompts. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at support@skillstackhq.com.
1.Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with your email address (passwordless magic link), we store your email address, the display name you choose, and sign-in timestamps. We never store passwords.
Purchases and subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep records of what you purchased, the amounts, and your subscription status so we can unlock your content and show your order history.
Content you publish. Skills, prompts, packs, reviews, and ratings you submit are stored and displayed publicly under your chosen display name.
Usage data. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) without cross-site cookies or fingerprinting. Server logs may record standard technical data such as IP address and user agent for security and debugging.
2.How we use your information
To provide and operate the service: accounts, content library, downloads, and reviews.
To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe, and to send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts) via Resend.
To improve the catalog, fix bugs, and detect abuse.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3.Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies: an encrypted session cookie to keep you signed in, and preferences such as language and theme.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.
4.Third-party services
We rely on a few infrastructure providers, each processing data only as needed to deliver their service: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Neon (managed Postgres database), Cloudflare R2 (file storage for uploads), and Vercel (hosting and privacy-friendly analytics). Their own privacy policies apply to the data they process.
5.Data retention and deletion
We keep account data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing support@skillstackhq.com; we will delete or anonymize it within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep (for example, for tax and accounting).
6.Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@skillstackhq.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7.Children
SkillStack is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
8.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with its revision date, and we will notify you by email of material changes.
